Fuel:
Fuel is full and you’ll have to return full. There are 6 petrol stations in total on Mahe. The station at Beau Vallon is currently closed for renovation so it wont be possible to refuel there. The two closest stations are in Victoria, Victoria North (closes at 9PM) and Victoria South (closes at 9PM). Please note that if fuel is not returned the same you will have to bare excessive charges, as our office is located quite far from the stations.
Fuel is normal petrol.

Insurance:
The car is insured up to an excess of 2000€. This means that if you have an accident, where it is established that you are at fault, you are liable to pay up to 2000€ for the damages incurred on your car. For any new dents, we charge at-least 100€. So we will check the car together and take photos to ensure everything is clear

Cleanliness:
We ask everyone to keep the car clean inside otherwise there’ll be additional charges of maximum 30 euros. Especially for sand, you can simply tap your feet with a towel to prevent sand from entering the car.

Driving rules:
Speed limit is 40 km/h all over the island except on the highway (80 km/h), which is from Victoria to the Airport.
