This thought was reflected in Thomas Mueller's speech, CTO, Engineering Services at Wipro:

This Cloud technology will give car manufacturers a unique opportunity to upgrade software at an unmatched scale, enabling them to address software failures remotely, without having to deal with it “in person”, which simplifies the whole process immensely.
Not to mention that it will create an unparalleled customer experience for car owners in terms of customizing their vehicles based on their needs and personal preferences.
