The most famous Bondmobile from Aston Martin

In the movie story "James Bond" 007 agent is always unspeakably lucky. In addition to the latest spy technology, Bond always got a luxury car into the bargain. In the first film "Doctor Know" (1962), the hero (Sean Connery) drives a Sunbeam Alpine Convertible around Sunny Jamaica, and in "From Russia with Love" (1963), Bond makes a phone call from a Bentley MK IV.

In most films, the Q Department presents the agent with an Aston Martin: it is this sports car that is associated with the bondiade. The first Aston Martin James Bond gets in "Goldfinger".

The Aston Martin DB5 model is silver in color and appears in subsequent films: the only difference is in the technical "filling" of the car.

The DB5 was produced only a couple of years: from 1963 to 1965. In 2019, a limited series (25 cars) were created at the English factory Newport-Pagneo. All cars were assembled manually. DB5 with a capacity of 426 horsepower is equipped with modern brakes, a safety frame and spy gadgets. Just imagine: changing numbers, a wheel cutter. Of course, this car is not allowed on public roads. It is suitable for the collection only, and its cost is 3.3 million pounds.

The second Aston Martin Bondmobile was seen in the film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" (1969), which then appeared only in "Casino Royale" (2006). The new film saw the debut of not only Daniel Craig as 007, but also a kind of presentation of the Aston Martin DBS. The improved model with a power of 517 HP was accelerated to a speed of 320 km/h.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante, the third famous model, was "awarded" to Bond in the film "Living Daylights". Lasers instead of cutters, 410 horsepower, skis instead of wheels for traveling through Russia - all these spy gadgets helped the hero, played by Timothy Dalton, to defeat the enemies.

In the film “Die Another Day” Bond drove an Aston Martin V12 Vanquish with a liquid crystal coating that reflected surrounding objects. Therefore the car is invisible in the movie frame :)

It's interesting what Aston Martin will be like in the new story about the legendary agent in 2020? For the new movie "No time to die", the company created limited versions of 007 Aston Martin Vantage and 007 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera in collaboration with EON Production. By the way, in the new movie you will again see all the Bondmobiles from our article.
