Entry into Thailand will be even easier from 1 April. At a briefing by CCSA (Thailand's COVID-19 Situation Management Center), they removed the requirement to provide a negative PCR test result before travel. The new rule applies to all entry schemes: Test & Go, Sandbox and Alternative Quarantine (for tourists without vaccine). 
Another innovation that will take effect from April 1 is the reduction of quarantine. Conditional quarantine for tourists arriving within the Sandbox will be reduced from 7 to 5 days. You can now book a hotel from the SHA Extra Plus category for 7 nights.
For the Alternative Quarantine program, the quarantine period, which must be carried out in your hotel room, is reduced to 5 days.
And for tourists coming to Thailand under the Test & Go program, nothing changes. For this program, indulgences have already been introduced since March 1. Mandatory conditional quarantine has been reduced to 1 day.
What remains unchanged
The rest of the conditions of entry remain unchanged. It is still necessary to get a Thailand Pass entry permit, be tested on arrival, and take an express (ATK) test on day 5. The minimum insurance coverage remains unchanged at $20,000.

However, further simplification of the rules for entering Thailand is planned on May 1. There are plans to replace the PCR test on arrival with an express (ATK) test. If the 4-stage endemic transition plan is successfully implemented, almost all requirements will be lifted from July 1, including quarantine for tourists without a vaccine.
