British Arrival presented the brand new EV named Car

The British company Arrival, founded by the ex-head of the Yota Group company Denis Sverdlov, presented an electric car Car. The model, intended to be used in taxi services, was developed in just six months in collaboration with Uber.

The partners haven't yet announced details about the prototype but noted that despite being Volkswagen Golf-sized, Car has the maximum passenger space. Arrival claims the space between the front and back seats are double bigger than similar cars have. In addition, the developers say the Arrival Car has more legroom than Rolls-Royce models.

The front passenger seat can be hidden to create more space for carrying luggage. The interior is made in a minimalist style. The panel received a large display, through which all the functions of the car and work with the Uber application are controlled.

Uber expects that the company will completely phase out traditional cars in London by 2025. Over 135 million pounds will be spent on updating its fleet in the British capital. By 2030, according to plans, all Uber drivers in Europe and the United States should switch to electric vehicles. As for Arrival, the Car prototype is the third car project of the company. The startup has previously developed an electric minivan and a delivery van, which have already been tested in Europe.
