The base squeezes out 190 hp and 320 Nm at medium revs. A more pumped engine confidently accelerates 250 horsepower and generates 370 Newtons / meter of peak torque without any problems.
A less efficient diesel engine can boast of almost all the characteristics of a weak gasoline engine with the only exception that there are two turbochargers, and the peak torque rises to 400 with the same 190 hp at maximum speed.
The advanced diesel engine has got two additional cylinders and V-geometry. The capacity has increased to 3 liters, and a total of 6 cylinders, with the support of a turbocharger and a system for adjusting the valve lift, move 218 «horses» and 400 Nm of torque.
Differences in the device have almost no effect on driving performance. Audi's top speed is fixed at 235-250 Km / h. The first and most important segment from 0 to 100 Sportback takes 6-7.5 seconds. Gluttony, however, directly depends on the type of fuel: gasoline engines burn about 7 liters per 100 kilometers, diesel engines will be more economical - only 4.5 liters.

Inside, the «German» fully corresponds to the first impression: expensive and strict.
