All-electric SUV Fisker Ocean Celebrates its first official appearance in Europe

New 2022 Fisker Ocean makes its debut this Monday at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The delivery of the all-electric SUV to the US and some European and Scandinavian countries will start shortly after production begins, which is set for November 2022.

The car was presented by the Fisker Incorporated CEO Henrik Fisker

"Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is the ideal place to showcase the Fisker Ocean, as our vehicle is full of advanced technology, including over-the-air offerings that we will take to a new level. With the Fisker Ocean's combination of performance, value, and sustainability, I believe we have a unique electric vehicle with industry-first features, such as California Mode, a 17.1-inch rotating screen, and the longest range in our segment."

As of now, there are about 47 prototypes under construction. Fisker Ocean SUV with its advanced technology and a range of up to 350 miles is believed to be taken on the Audi Q4 E-Tron and BMW iX3. The success of the car on the European market is crucial especially since it will be built at Magna-Steyr's plant in Graz, Austria.

Moreover, Fisker has recently opened an office in Germany, which is meant to serve the country's fast-growing electric vehicle market.

Before that, the EV startup has funded the England-based Fisker Magic Works division in 2021, which will be focused on developing special editions of Fisker vehicles and high-performance projects.
